We are seeking a high-energy, sophisticated Business Development Manager to spearhead our growth. You will be the face of Optigy, identifying and securing partnerships with healthcare organizations to provide Locum Tenens, Permanent Placement, and Professional (RPO) Services. 

What You’ll Do 

  • Drive Growth: Proactively prospect and source new business opportunities through strategic cold calling, email campaigns, and industry networking. 

  • C-Suite Engagement: Navigate complex healthcare hierarchies to schedule and lead high-level meetings with CEOs, COOs, and Medical Directors. 

  • Consultative Selling: Present Optigy’s full ecosystem of services—including locums, permanent provider search, and RPO services—tailoring solutions to each client’s specific pain points. 

  • Virtual Presentation: Masterfully present Optigy’s suite of services (Locums, Perm, and PRO) via Zoom, tailoring high-impact decks to client needs. 

  • Market Intelligence: Act as a subject matter expert on healthcare staffing trends and competitor landscapes to maintain Optigy’s edge. 

  • Pipeline Management: Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach to contract execution, utilizing our ATS to track daily and monthly metrics. 

  • Strategic Handoffs: Partner with the Delivery Team to facilitate smooth transitions from contract execution to service implementation, ensuring 100% alignment on client expectations and timelines. 

  • Travel: Currently mostly virtual via Zoom/Phone. Future travel may be required (up to 20%) based on business growth and territory expansion. 

 

What You Bring 

  • Experience: 3+ years of B2B sales experience (inside or outside). A background in healthcare staffing is highly preferred. 

  • The “Hunter” Mentality: A proven track record of exceeding quotas and a “no-stone-unturned” approach to prospecting. 

  • Executive Presence: The ability to speak the language of healthcare administrators and clinical leaders with confidence and clarity. 

  • Strategic Agility: You can pivot between selling a short-term locums fix and a long-term PRO services strategy. 

  • Tech Savvy: Proficient in CRM management (Salesforce preferred) and professional social selling (LinkedIn Sales Navigator). 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent professional experience. 

  • Credentials: Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
