Job Summary

• Locum Emergency Medicine physician needed at a community hospital in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula

• Facility volume: 18,000 annually (approx. 50 encounters per day)

• Coverage model: 24-hour MD coverage, 12-hour NP/PA coverage

• Shift times: 7a–7p and 7p–7a (MD); 11a–11p (NPPA)

• Must be board certified by ABEM

• Must be willing to work both day and night shifts

• Requires at least 2 years of Emergency Medicine case log experience

Credentialing Requirements

• Active Michigan medical license and DEA

• Clean malpractice and disciplinary file

• ABEM board certification

• Estimated credentialing time: 60 days

• No start-up support available
